Parish Council meetings take place on the second Monday in January, March, May, July, September and November and are held in the Institute Hall, Higham Road. Meetings start at 7.30pm and all residents and members of the public are welcome to attend. Although such attendance is in the role of observer for much of the meeting, opportunity is available at every meeting for parish residents to raise topics of general interest or matters of particular concern.

The Parish Council also holds an Annual Parish Meeting, usually in April/ which all parish residents are partcularly encouraged to attend. Organisations from within the parish are also invited to attend and, if they wish, to present a short report on their activities during the preceding year and their future plans.

These meetings are a useful way to find out more about the community in which you have chosen to live. They also provide residents with an opportunity to raise and discuss, matters of concern.

Notices providing dates, start times and agendas for parish council meetings can be viewed on the Parish Council notice boards located by The Anchor Public House in Upper Street and by the footbridge over the River Stour (known locally as the Weir), Lower Street.
