PHYSICAL MEETINGS OF THE STRATFORD ST MARY PARISH COUNCIL
HAVE BEEN SUSPENDED
DURING THE CURRENT COVID19 PANDEMIC.
However, since July 2020, scheduled bi-monthly meetings have been held via Zoom.
Meeting access details are available to residents upon access to the Parish Clerk.
Please check these web-pages periodically for notification of change to this situation.
In normal circumstances, Parish Council meetings take place on the second Monday in January, March, May, July, September and November and are held in the Institute Hall, Higham Road. Meetings start at 7.30pm and all residents and members of the public are welcome and encouraged to attend.
The Parish Council also holds an Annual Parish Meeting in April which all organisations from within the village are invited to attend and present a report on their activities during the preceding year..
Parish Council meetings are a useful way to find out more about the community in which you have chosen to live. It also gives residents an opportunity to raise matters of concern.
Agendas for parish council meetings can be found on the notice boards located by The Anchor Public House in Upper Street and by the footbridge over the River Stour (known locally as the Weir), Lower Street.
