Parish Council meetings take place on the second Monday in January, March, May, July, September and November and are held in the Institute Hall, Higham Road. Meetings start at 7.30pm and all residents and members of the public are welcome and encouraged to attend.
The Parish Council also holds an Annual Parish Meeting, usually in April/ which all organisations from within the village are invited to attend and present a report on their activities during the preceding year or their future plans.
Parish Council meetings are a useful way to find out more about the community in which you have chosen to live. They also provide residents with an opportunity to raise matters of concern.
Dates, start times and agendas for parish council meetings can be read on the Parish Council notice boards located by The Anchor Public House in Upper Street and by the footbridge over the River Stour (known locally as the Weir), Lower Street.
