With walks from half a mile to twelve miles plus and a note of suitability for pushchairs and wheelchairs, everyone can find a walk to enjoy.

Footpaths over Langham Hall Estate (Essex)

Langham Hall enjoy two national footpaths over their land: The Essex Way and The Stour Valley path.The majority of this route forms part of European Path E2. It connects with the Icknield Way Path, St Edmund Way, the Stour and Orwell Walk and the Essex Way.The St Edmund Way and both cross the weir at Stratford St Mary!

Kate and Charlie Warburton have recently taken over the management of Langham Hall Estate and have agreed permissive access to land that is part of the working farm. This means it could be closed from time to time when agricutural priorities come to play.

As always with country areas, keep dogs under control, on the footpaths.

This is an important part of living in Stratford St Mary and we hope visitors will enjoy it too.
